Size Does Not Matter – Large Institutions as Part of Vibrant Communities

Large care institutions are often isolated – but it doesn’t have to be that way. Our project „Size Does Not Matter“ demonstrates how even large institutions can become inclusive, vibrant places through good concepts, openness, and collaboration with the neighborhood.

Together with partners from other European cities, we aim to show models of how this can succeed – based on social space analyses, participatory planning, and genuine engagement.
